Brass HVACR Valve Bodies and Flare Adapters

Custom brass HVACR service bodies, flare adapters and access fittings made to drawing, with refrigerant interfaces, cleanliness and leak-test scope reviewed before quotation.

Define the service interface and the test scope

Select a service-valve body, charging body, flare adapter or access-fitting body from the required connection and assembly drawing. A brass body does not by itself define a complete valve or a refrigerant approval.

  1. 1

For flare connections, identify the specified flare system, angle, mating seat and thread on the drawing. Do not treat different flare systems as interchangeable.

  2. 2

For service and charging bodies, list valve cores, caps, seals and other purchased parts separately; state whether the quotation covers the body only or an assembly for review.

  3. 3

Provide the refrigerant and lubricant, operating conditions, cleanliness and packaging requirements. Specify the requested leak-test method, acceptance criteria and whether testing applies to the body or completed assembly.
